Angus Construction Bin Rental Pricing: Regular vs All-In for Contractors

October 8, 20266 min read

If you manage construction or renovation projects in Angus, the right bin rate can make your disposal costs easier to control.

Tor Bin Rental offers two pricing options for household and construction waste:

  • Regular Rate: Lower starting price with up to 1 metric tonne included, then pay for additional weight.

  • All-In Rate: Higher starting price with unlimited disposal, subject to material and loading rules.

This guide compares the current July 2026 starting rates, bin dimensions, and decision points for contractors working in Angus, Alliston, Lisle, Everett, and nearby communities.

⚠️ Important: Rates vary by delivery postal code. All listed prices are starting rates, subject to a 5% fuel surcharge and H.S.T. Your final online price may differ.

July 2026 Angus Construction Bin Pricing

These rates apply to household and construction waste bins. They include the standard service package described below.

The listed starting rates are before the 5% fuel surcharge and H.S.T.

For current availability and the rate attached to your Angus postal code, check the Services & Pricing page.

What the Regular Rate Includes

The Regular Rate is a base rental price plus weight if your load exceeds the included allowance.

Your Regular Rate includes:

  • 7-day rental

  • Delivery to your jobsite

  • Pickup when the rental is complete

  • Disposal of up to 1 metric tonne

  • Additional weight billed at $130 per metric tonne

Choose Regular when you expect your load to stay close to or below the included tonne.

It can work well for:

  • Light framing debris

  • Smaller drywall projects

  • Limited renovation waste

  • Partial room renovations

  • Light mixed construction material

  • Jobs where your crew can closely control the load

The main risk is uncertainty. If the debris weighs more than expected, the additional disposal charge increases your total.

What the All-In Rate Includes

The All-In Rate gives you a higher starting price in exchange for more predictable disposal costs.

It includes:

  • 7-day rental

  • Delivery

  • Pickup

  • Unlimited disposal, subject to accepted materials and safe-loading requirements

  • No separate per-tonne charge for ordinary accepted waste under the All-In option

Choose All-In when you want to avoid estimating the final weight of the bin.

It is often a better fit for:

  • Full-room demolitions

  • Multi-room renovations

  • Kitchen or bathroom gut jobs

  • Heavy mixed renovation debris

  • Large quantities of drywall, flooring, lumber, or furniture

  • Projects where several workers will load the bin

  • Jobs where cost certainty matters more than the lowest starting price

The All-In Rate does not mean every material is accepted. Hazardous materials, asbestos, chemicals, paint, oil, batteries, tires, appliances, electronics, and other restricted materials are not permitted.

The 8-Yard Bin Is Specialty-Only

The 8-yard bin measures 7' × 14' × 2'.

It is designed for specific heavy materials:

  • Clean soil

  • Concrete

  • Asphalt

⚠️ Do not use the 8-yard bin for household or general construction waste. It is not the correct option for drywall, lumber, furniture, mixed renovation debris, or general jobsite cleanup.

If you are removing a concrete walkway, asphalt driveway, or clean excavation material, the 8-yard specialty bin may be suitable. For household and construction waste, compare the 10-, 14-, or 20-yard options instead.

Regular vs All-In: Use This If/Then Framework

Choose Regular if…

  • If your estimated load is light and controlled, then choose Regular.

  • If you are removing less than or close to 1 metric tonne, then Regular may provide the lower total cost.

  • If your crew is loading a small renovation bin over a short, organized schedule, then Regular may be practical.

  • If the material is difficult to estimate but you can separate and weigh it accurately, then Regular may still work.

Choose All-In if…

  • If your project includes a large demolition, then choose All-In for more predictable disposal costs.

  • If multiple trades will add waste to the same bin, then All-In reduces the need to track every load.

  • If you expect to exceed the included tonne, then compare the potential $130-per-tonne charges against the All-In premium.

  • If avoiding a surprise disposal bill is more important than the lowest starting price, then All-In is usually the safer budget choice.

Choose a larger bin if…

  • If your debris will be bulky but relatively light, then consider the 20-yard bin.

  • If your project involves a moderate renovation or several rooms, then consider the 14-yard bin.

  • If your work is limited to a smaller renovation, roofing project, or compact cleanup, then consider the 10-yard bin.

Starting-Rate Break-Even Guide

The following comparison uses the July 2026 starting prices only. It is a planning tool, not a final quote.

The Regular Rate includes 1 metric tonne. Additional weight costs $130 per metric tonne.

Using the listed starting rates:

  • 10-yard: All-In becomes more competitive at roughly 1.5 to 1.6 tonnes total

  • 14-yard: All-In becomes more competitive at roughly 2 tonnes total

  • 20-yard: All-In becomes more competitive at roughly 2.8 to 2.9 tonnes total

These estimates do not include the 5% fuel surcharge or H.S.T. Postal code pricing, actual scale weight, material type, availability, and other booking details can affect the final total.

Example: 14-Yard Regular vs All-In

Suppose you are booking a 14-yard bin in Angus.

  • Starting Regular Rate: $325

  • Included disposal: 1 metric tonne

  • Estimated total load: 3 metric tonnes

  • Estimated extra weight: 2 metric tonnes

  • Additional weight: 2 × $130 = $260

  • Estimated Regular subtotal: $585

The starting All-In rate for the 14-yard bin is $460.

In this example, All-In may be the better value before the fuel surcharge and H.S.T. However, this is only a planning example. It is not a final quote, and actual charges depend on the confirmed postal code, material, weight, and booking details.

Jobsite Planning Tips for Angus Contractors

Use these steps to reduce delays and avoid unnecessary costs.

1. Estimate material before booking

Separate your debris into categories:

  • Drywall

  • Lumber

  • Flooring

  • Roofing material

  • Concrete or asphalt

  • Soil

  • Furniture or household contents

Dense materials can reach the included weight limit quickly. Bulky materials may fill the bin before they become especially heavy.

2. Select the bin by material and volume

Do not select a bin based only on the number of rooms.

Consider:

  • How heavy the debris is

  • How much space it occupies

  • Whether the material is accepted

  • Whether the bin must remain below the fill line

  • Whether your jobsite can accommodate the bin and truck

3. Plan the delivery location

Tor Bin Rental uses driveway-safe placement methods to help protect asphalt, concrete, and other surfaces. Still, make sure the delivery area is:

  • Clear of vehicles and equipment

  • Free of low branches and overhead obstructions

  • Accessible to the roll-off truck

  • Firm and reasonably level

  • Wide enough for safe delivery and pickup

4. Keep loading within the rules

Load evenly. Do not overload the bin or allow materials to extend above the top. Keep prohibited materials out of the container.

If your project changes, request an extension or early pickup rather than letting the bin interfere with the next phase of work.
