A farm cleanup in Lisle can create several different waste streams at once.
You may be dealing with:
Old lumber and barn debris
Broken fencing and gates
Household junk from an outbuilding
Brush and yard waste
Shingles from a repair
Soil, concrete, or asphalt
Leftover fuel, chemicals, batteries, or farm supplies
The key is to sort everything before you book your bin. The right material category helps you avoid rejected loads, extra handling charges, and unsafe disposal.
This guide explains what can go in a Tor Bin Rental bin, what must stay out, and which size fits your Lisle farm cleanup.
Start With Three Waste Piles
Before booking a bin rental in Lisle, separate your materials into three groups.
1. Mixed household and construction waste
This is the right category for most general farm and property cleanups.
Depending on the condition and material, this may include:
Non-contaminated lumber
Broken shelving and cabinets
Drywall and siding
Flooring and carpet
Roofing shingles
Furniture and mattresses
Cardboard and packaging
Non-hazardous plastics
General barn and outbuilding debris
Small renovation and demolition debris
Non-hazardous yard cleanup material
If your pile contains a mixture of old wood, household items, renovation debris, and general junk, choose a regular household and construction waste bin.
2. Clean heavy materials
Soil, concrete, and asphalt require special handling.
These materials are extremely heavy. They should not automatically go into a large mixed-waste bin.
Use the 8-yard specialty bin, measuring 7' x 14' x 2', only for qualifying clean material:
Clean soil
Concrete
Asphalt
⚠️ The 8-yard bin is specialty-only. Do not add lumber, garbage, household junk, fencing, plastic, shingles, or mixed barn debris.
If you have a combination of soil and construction waste, contact Tor Bin Rental before loading. Mixing categories can lead to additional sorting requirements or charges.
3. Prohibited and problem materials
Some farm cleanup materials require separate disposal. Do not place them in any Tor Bin Rental bin.
Keep out:
⚠️ Gasoline, diesel, and other fuels
⚠️ Oil, lubricants, and automotive fluids
⚠️ Paint, solvents, and chemicals
⚠️ Pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides
⚠️ Fertilizer with chemical residue
⚠️ Propane tanks and compressed gas cylinders
⚠️ Household or vehicle batteries
⚠️ Tires
⚠️ Asbestos-containing materials
⚠️ Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners containing refrigerant
⚠️ Fire extinguishers
⚠️ Explosives, ammunition, and flares
⚠️ Needles and medical waste
Never place a leaking container or unknown chemical in the bin. Set it aside and contact an appropriate hazardous-waste, agricultural collection, or recycling program.
When you are unsure about one item, stop and ask before loading. Email info@torbinrental.ca or call 705-481-7604.
Which Bin Size Fits a Lisle Farm Cleanup?
Tor Bin Rental offers driveway-safe bins with rear doors and low side walls. This makes it easier to carry heavy or bulky waste into the container.
10-yard bin
Dimensions: 7' x 11' x 3.5'
Choose the 10-yard bin if you have:
A small barn or shed cleanup
A limited amount of lumber and drywall
One outbuilding or room to clear
A smaller yard and property cleanup
July 2026 starting rates:
Regular Rate: $325
All-In Rate: $395
14-yard bin
Dimensions: 8' x 14' x 3.5'
Choose the 14-yard bin if you have:
Multiple rooms or outbuildings to clean
A moderate amount of barn debris
Mixed household and renovation waste
A larger fence, shed, or yard cleanup
July 2026 starting rates:
Regular Rate: $325
All-In Rate: $460

20-yard bin
Dimensions: 8' x 14' x 5'
Choose the 20-yard bin if you have:
A full farmhouse or multi-building cleanup
Large amounts of bulky household waste
A major barn, garage, or workshop cleanout
Construction debris from a larger renovation
July 2026 starting rates:
Regular Rate: $350
All-In Rate: $590
The 20-yard bin provides more volume. It does not make heavy materials easier to dispose of. Do not use a large mixed-waste bin for a full load of soil, concrete, or asphalt.

Regular Rate vs. All-In Rate
Choose your rate based on the weight and uncertainty of your cleanup.
Choose Regular Rate if:
Your load is mostly light household or renovation debris.
You expect to stay close to 1 metric tonne.
You want the lower starting price.
You can separate heavy materials before loading.
The Regular Rate includes:
Delivery
Pickup
A 7-day rental
Up to 1 metric tonne of disposal
Additional weight is charged at $130 per metric tonne.
Choose All-In Rate if:
You have a heavier or unpredictable load.
You are cleaning multiple farm buildings.
You do not want to calculate disposal weight.
You prefer one simple disposal rate.
The All-In Rate includes disposal without weight-based overage charges for accepted materials.
All prices are starting rates. Your final rate can vary by postal code. A 5% fuel surcharge and H.S.T. apply.
Load the Bin Safely
The way you load the bin matters.
Follow these rules during your Lisle cleanup:
Load materials evenly across the floor.
Put heavy items on the bottom.
Break down furniture, pallets, and long boards.
Point nails, wire, and sharp edges downward.
Do not allow debris to hang over the sides.
Keep the load level with the top of the bin.
Keep the rear doors and surrounding access area clear.
Do not place liquids, sealed chemical containers, or unknown materials inside.
🚨 DO NOT OVERFILL THE BIN. Waste above the sidewalls can create a transportation hazard and may need to be removed before pickup.

The Farm Cleanup Process
Step 1: Sort the materials
Create your mixed-waste, clean-heavy-material, and prohibited-material piles.
If you have soil, concrete, or asphalt, keep it completely separate from barn and household debris.
Step 2: Select the bin
Use this simple guide:
If you have only clean soil, concrete, or asphalt, then ask about the 8-yard specialty bin.
If you have a smaller mixed cleanup, then choose the 10-yard bin.
If you have several rooms or one large outbuilding, then choose the 14-yard bin.
If you are clearing multiple structures or bulky farm contents, then choose the 20-yard bin.
If your material list includes chemicals, fuel, tires, batteries, or refrigerant appliances, then set those items aside for separate disposal.
Step 3: Book online
Use our 24/7 online booking page to select your bin, rental dates, and rate.
Same-day or next-day delivery may be available in Lisle, depending on route capacity and bin availability.

Step 4: Prepare the delivery area
Our driveway-safe bins are placed with protection underneath to help prevent damage to asphalt, concrete, and other property surfaces.
Before delivery:

Trim low branches if necessary.
Make sure the truck has a safe approach.
Tell us about gates, narrow access points, soft ground, or overhead wires.
Do not block the bin with tractors or trailers.
Step 5: Load and request pickup
Load the bin during your rental period. Keep everything level and within the accepted material category.
When you finish, contact Tor Bin Rental for pickup. We will remove the bin and take the material for appropriate disposal.
